Fundraising Commitment
The 2007-08 school budget depends on $50,000 income from fundraisers during the year. To reach
this goal, each family needs to sell $400 worth of products from any combination of designated
fundraisers. All money raised through these programs directly benefits the school and children.
Past fundraisers have included:
- Mr. Z’s Pizza and products.
- QSP magazine subscriptions.
- Gold C and Entertainment Books.
- Suzie’s Cheesecakes.
- Poinsettia sale.
- Miller Park.
- Other designated fundraisers.
Note that items sold count toward the $400 fundraising requirement, while hours worked at eligible
fundraising events count toward the 20-hour volunteer service requirement.

MILLER PARK CONCESSIONS:
|
|

The Milwaukee
Brewers will give St. Thomas Aquinas Academy a check equal to 10% of the
total sales at the concession stand that we work.
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy typically receives a check from the
Brewers averaging slightly less than $1000 per game that we work!
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy must commit to work 10 games
throughout the course of the season.
Working 2
shifts satisfies a family’s $400 fundraising commitment.
Working 4 shifts satisfies a family’s $400 fundraising
commitment and the service hours commitment.
This is a great
way to make new friends, have fun and fulfill your fundraising
obligation. If
you would like to volunteer to work at Miller Park in one of the
concession booths, look here next year for the schedule.

MARKET DAY:
|
|
Market
Day is a monthly fundraising program at St. Thomas. Each month your
child will bring home a Market Day flyer filled with quality products.
You may place an order by either returning the form to school, or by
ordering online. 10% of the total sales is returned to St. Thomas Aquinas
Academy.
Market Day sales generate less funds for the school than the fundraisers listed above. For that reason, only 20% of each order total counts toward the $400 sales requirement per family.
Market Day offers a wide selection of high quality foods at a value, and
a portion of every purchase goes back to your child's school or
organization. Market Day has a commitment to education by helping
schools across the country make their fundraising dreams come true.
Since Market Day's inception over 29 years ago, the program has been
introduced across the country and now serves as the primary fundraising
source for over 5,000 schools in 16 states. The Market Day program has
raised over $330 million for education since 1975.
