St Thomas Aquinas Academy Parent Groups

Parents, guardians, grandparents, relatives, neighbors
and friends make up a healthy school community –
a vital part of our school’s success.

Through parent groups and associations, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy seeks to bring together the home,
the school and the community in order to further our
children’s social education and our school’s mission.

Two active parent groups – Home & School Association and Room Parents – work in support of our school. The purpose of these groups is to provide a way for parents to get involved, organize support and enthusiasm for the school, lead by example, voice their concerns, contribute their ideas on school issues, meet new people and so much more.

Objectives of Parent Groups

  1. Raise funds for the school.
  2. Organize social events to bring people together.
  3. Provide opportunities for parents to learn more about the way in which schools are organized today and what is taught.
  4. Care for the school and all those who work in it (students, faculty, staff and volunteers).
  5. Contribute to the wider community that the school serves.

Get Involved

All are welcome at the School Advisory Board meeting which occur the first Tuesday of the month. Every parent or guardian in the school should feel free to join in all the activities that interest him or her or that they feel are important. Parents can call on any committee or group member if they would like something brought up at a meeting.

A sincere thank you to all the parents, families and friends of St. Thomas Aquinas Academy who support our efforts.
