We Make a Big Difference

We know how important it is to support our community and help those less fortunate than we are.  We do a great job of organizing and championing social awareness and activities throughout the school year.  From bake sales to big donation drives, from filling our food pantry to helping animals in need, we love the feeling we get when we do something selfless that positively impacts our community.

Student Council Leadership

Each month, Student Council members select an organization to collect donations for.  From food and aluminum can drives to warm socks for homeless veterans, STAA is proud to have a positive impact on those around us.

This year, we've donated to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin, and St. Ben's and the House of Peace to name a few.

Student Volunteer Service Commitment

In striving to develop well-rounded students, each student in grades 1-8 is required to serve their own service hours for the betterment of the school, church, and community.  Hours served must match or exceed the grade number until 6th grade, when service hours required are doubled.

Students may help at any of our six cluster parishes, act as a cadet, volunteer to help with a school activity, help a neighbor with raking or shoveling, be a study buddy, assist with the meal program, or help in the community.

Generous Jeans Days

Our generous jeans days give us lots of fun opportunities to come to school out of dress code to support a money or item collection drive.  Students are not required to donate and any amount of generosity is accepted and greatly appreciated.

Soles for Catholic Education Fundraising Walk

Every October, our school community puts on its walking shoes and participates in the annual Soles for Catholic Education fundraising walk.  The money we raise through donations stays right at our school and supports tuition assistance programs.

Annual Dinner Auction

Our annual dinner auction is the premiere fundraising event of the school year.  This formal event invites parents, adult family members, neighbors, and members of our community to join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, a silent auction, dynamic live auction, and tons of fun.  The money we raise at our dinner auction stays right at our school and helps to support tuition assistance, security enhancements, improving technology, and upgrading our campus.
